U.S. Airways Posts Photo Showing Plane In Woman’s Privates As Response To Angry Customer

Twitter followers of U.S. Airways were shocked to see a photo showing a nu'de woman with a plane in her privates.
The tweet was a response to a tweet from a client named Elle, who complained about the airline’s services.
Elle was angry after her flight was delayed. In the tweet, Elle was encouraged to make a complaint about her issue with customer service.
However, instead of linking to the complaint form, the airline shared a graphic picture of a woman with a model airplane between her le'gs. After Twitter users began talking about the image U.S. Airways removed the photo and apologized.

“We apologize for an inappropriate image recently shared as a link in one of our answers,” the airline tweeted. “We have removed the tweet and we are investigating,” the employee added.

Later, U.S. Airways shared the findings of their investigation. “Our investigation has determined that the image was originally posted to our Twitter feed by another user,” the airline said.

“Unfortunately, this picture was inadvertently included in a response to a client. We immediately realized the error and we deleted our tweet. We deeply regret the mistake, and we are currently reviewing our processes to avoid such mistakes in the future,” a spokesperson for the airline said.
